5-WEEK ETIQUETTE & DINING ESSENTIALS PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AGE 7-11

Wonderful manners begin with confidence in knowing how and what to do in all kinds of social situations. Manners are memorable and make lasting impressions. It’s endearing when someone looks you in the eye when greeting or speaking to you, or is a good listener and doesn’t interrupt, or writes a thoughtful and personal thank you note, or doesn’t slurp their drink, or sits up straight at the dining table.

Have your child join The Protocol Academy for a five-week Children’s Etiquette and Dining Essentials Series! In this progressive, active-based and participatory program, students learn and practice the valued life skills of thoughtfulness and everyday kindness through role-play, discussions, games and activities. The first part of the class teaches subjects such as: Meet and Greet Essentials, Connecting with People; Family Politeness; Conversation and Communication Cues; Thank You Notes; Wardrobe Thoughtfulness; Proper Party Behavior; and Situational Conduct.

In the second part of the class each week, students will practice hands-on those prized dining skills. These include: Proper Table Posture; Two and Three Course Place Settings; Linen and Utensil Protocol; Etiquette for Dining at Home and Away; Proper Table Manners and Acceptable Behavior; Styles of Dining; and more. Parent testimonials from Children’s Etiquette programs:

“Etiquette is a lost art, and it’s wonderful to have Angie working with young children to teach them manners and proper behavior in social settings. We can try to teach them at home, but with everything, they listen much better to a teacher than to their own parents.”

“My husband and I are really enjoying our sons practicing your family politeness rules–with us and with each other! Thank you!”

“I can see a difference already, after the first class! Looking forward to the next one!”

“This evening at dinner my daughter did not reach across the table nor did she bother her brother. She showed us how to place her napkin. AND she thanked me for the meal!”

“What a great concept, Angie! We’re looking forward to our son attending one of your teen classes soon!”

Does Your Child Need A Little Etiquette Help?
Great etiquette and strong social skills build self-confidence, and resonate with those around you. Be it holding a polite conversation, making a sincere apology, understanding how hurtful gossip is, or being a mannerly host or guest – all these gestures of respect and kindness are important in day-to-day life.

For 7-11 year olds, The Protocol Academy’s 8-week Etiquette and Dining Series is a fun and interactive program in which your child learns and practices courtesy, thoughtfulness and graciousness for everyday life situations. During the dining etiquette segment, students learn dining astuteness and self-reliance. The curriculum includes: Proper Table Posture; Two and Three Course Place Settings; Utensil Protocol and Usage; Napkin and Linen Protocol; Etiquette for Dining at Home and Away; Proper Table Manners and Acceptable Behavior; Styles of Dining; and more.
