What’s That About Wearing White Year Round?
November 7, 2024What To Bring For Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving Dinner That’s Not A Potluck?
🍁 You’ve RSVP’d to a Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving dinner and your family/hosts have replied “just bring yourself” when you’ve asked what meal items can you bring. What should you do?
Honor that request (unless you have food allergies or dietary restrictions; here offer to bring a specific side dish for others to enjoy as well). And bring a thoughtful host gift for them to enjoy another time.
Here are ideas you can still make or get, leading up to the day of festivities:
- Wrapped cheese wedges
- Small wrapped charcuterie board
- Your hosts’ favorite wine, beer, non alcoholic refreshment
- Autumnal napkin rings or coasters
- Small plant, herb or potted flower
- Breakfast rolls or muffins
- Homemade cookies, muffins, granola
- Autumnal flower vase, cookie cutters, cookie tray, pie stand or pie dish
- Autumnal themed salad tongs, cooking/baking utensils, cutting board or dish towels
- Set of Mason jars
